Emily Halpern

Emily Halpern is the Co-Founder of TGC Impact and is responsible for deal sourcing, execution, portfolio management, and investor relations. She has over 25 years of experience in lower middle market investing, diversity initiatives, and business development. Emily founded VUE Partners, a strategic advisory firm, and has advised and consulted for The Enterprise Center, a Community Development Financial institution (CDFI)  focused on investing in diverse small businesses. She was previously on the investment team for Brightwood Capital Advisors, a $3B asset manager providing debt and equity solutions to lower middle market businesses, and was responsible for Southeast Originations. Brightwood managed two SBIC funds, one solely investing in women, minority, and veteran led companies. Emily is on the Advisory Board for Innovate Capital and is the Chair of ACG Maryland’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee.
